Kobelco Isuzu DEF Delete Emulator
A number of Kobelco excavators use Isuzu diesel engines together with electronically controlled SCR and DEF systems. When these systems develop faults, the machine may display warnings, log emissions-related fault codes or eventually enter a reduced-power condition.
Our Kobelco Isuzu DEF Delete Emulator communicates with the machine’s emissions control system and is designed to provide the required DEF/SCR signals for compatible applications.
The Isuzu emulator is a compact 4-wire unit that is wired directly into the DCU (Dosing Control Unit) connections. This avoids ECU remapping and does not require specialist programming equipment.

Kobelco Isuzu 4JJ1 DEF Delete
The Isuzu 4JJ1 is used in selected Kobelco excavator applications. Where the machine uses the compatible Isuzu SCR/DCU system, our 4-wire DEF Delete Emulator provides a hardware-based solution without modifying the engine ECU software.
The emulator is wired directly into the relevant DCU connections and communicates with the machine through the CAN network.
